Jessica Starr, PA-C, MPH
Founder
Jessica is a board certified Physician Associate who has over 20 years of medical experience ranging from emergency medicine and orthopedic surgery to plastic and reconstructive surgery and aesthetic medicine. She has completed numerous Allergan injection courses and trained directly under an Allergan instructor. She was raised around the Lake Tahoe area and fell in love with the area at a young age while following her ski patroller parents around the east shores of Lake Tahoe.
She earned her degree from Pacific University of Oregon and decided to make Tahoe her permanent home after graduating. She has enjoyed international medical volunteer missions to work in rural clinics, hospitals, and surgery centers in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Nigeria. She is known for her calm, gentle touch, clinical expertise and her artistic eye. She believes that feeling good about the way you look plays a pivotal role in confidence and self-esteem. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve natural looking results, while also providing patients with realistic expectations.
When not working, she enjoys the active Tahoe lifestyle, especially skiing, mountain biking and triathlons, traveling, as well as spending time with her family.
Janet DeWitt, RN BSN
Janet DeWitt is a Registered Nurse who has over 25 years of injecting experience and has been a nurse for 40 years. She is a national Allergan trainer and travels the country teaching experienced and new injectors proper technique, safety, and new technology. Janet works at our Reno location.
When not helping her clients to achieve natural looking results, she enjoys sailing, traveling, skiing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Savannah McGuire, NP
Savannah McGuire is a Nurse Practitioner with prior experience in trauma ICU, ER, and women’s health. She received her NP from Chamberlain University and her BSN from Boise State. Savannah works at our Reno location.
She is passionate about aesthetics and helping our clients reach their most natural and youthful results. Savannah has trained one on one with National Allergan Trainer Janet DeWitt and is growing her practice rapidly.
When she is not treating clients to Botox, she can be found chasing her 2 young daughters, reading, sewing, cooking and spending time with her husband.
SHILOH BOYER, RN, aesthetician
Shiloh is a Public Health Registered Nurse certified in wound care and laser safety and licensed aesthetician. Her personal struggles with acne and other skin conditions sparked a lifelong passion for skin and holistic healthcare. She has more than 20 years of combined experience in skincare, wound care, public health, energetic healing, and aesthetic dermatology.
She originally landed in the Tahoe area in 2002, working as a California ski bum in the winter and Alaska river guide in the summer. Her thirst for knowledge and interests in science, history, the arts, the natural world, and the metaphysical have driven her to a profession in healthcare; focused on a love for humanity, community, and the planet.
She became a licensed aesthetician in 2006 and went on to study at the University of Nevada, Reno, earning Bachelor’s of Science in both Nursing and Community Health Sciences in 2014. She has a vast knowledge of skincare products, conditions, and cosmetic treatments. She is also an intuitive and certified Reiki Master, specializing in energetic healing.
She spends her free time skiing, biking, paddling, surfing, golfing, crafting, gardening, cheering on her son at Truckee Little League games, and supporting her fire husband.
Shiloh aspires to educate our community that skin health is just as important as all the other parts of our health, and aims to help them reflect the beauty within.
Gary Starr, Md, Medical director
E. Gary Starr, MD, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician who specializes in spinal and orthopedic injuries and pain and performs botox injections for migraine headaches, as well as spasticity in children and adults due to stroke or cerebral palsy. He graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1984 and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at UC Irvine in 1988.
